St. Francis High School is an unaided Christian Religious Minority Educational Institution run by the Society of Sevasadan Orphanage and Training Institute, which is administered by The Congregation of the Franciscan Missionary Brothers. The school follows the syllabus of the Government of Karnataka (State Syllabus) and the medium of instruction is English.
With the recognition granted by the Government of Karnataka, the School has become a full-fledged institution with classes up to the Secondary Level. It is a co-educational institution and admission is open to children of all communities irrespective of caste, creed, religion or region.
Since its humble inception in 1990, St. Francis School has grown from being just another school in the city’s firmament, to an institution that is recognised for bringing about a transformation in the school education, synchronous with the contemporary global standards. Over the last three decades, it has grown steadily and added immense value to the areas that surround it. Initiated in 1990, it has grown from strength to strength with every passing year.
St. Francis High School as seen today has become an opportunity for the children and the center where in they would be nurtured and groomed at par excellence with any school, anywhere in the country. It had to have been someone’s DREAM which one BELIEVED in and so this ACHIEVEMENT.
The founding principles of the school are clearly laid out to serve as the guiding light for all the stakeholders. They are clearly communicated and practiced to create and sustain a SFHSculture among the members of the staff, students and parents. Emphasis is laid on value systems to create self-motivated, self-regulated individuals through various opportunities at school. This transforms them into sensitive and sensible individuals, empowered to make informed decisions and become the change agents for a better tomorrow.
